My narrative piece is going to be about a nice man who becomes a villain after digesting the part poisonous japanese puffer fish fugu.

Oliver is a really nice, well known hardworking guy. He lives in Venice, a beautiful city in Italy. He has been married to a gorgeous woman named Rosa for 3 years. He is a scientist and his goal is to find a new specimen that can help cure some of the deadliest diseases. On a work trip to Japan with some of his coworkers, Oliver and his group decide to stop by a restaurant that markets sushi. Oliver is a guy who doesn’t enjoy fish, but he decided to go along with them according to the majority vote. One of the people sitting next to Oliver forces him to eat some of the fugu. Oliver has always been cautious and therefore knows how deadly that fish can be if it’s not handled correctly. But the place seemed very sanitary and the chefs gave off a safe and professional aura. So Oliver decided why not try something new with the crew, maybe he might enjoy it. Little did he know this could either cripple or amplify his life.

The next morning Oliver began to feel an uneasy feeling in his Chest.. His breathing was heavy, his chest throbbed, and his head was numb. He thought it was just because he wasn’t used to the difference in lifestyle and weathering.

Fugu is only part of the japanese puffer fish. Fugu is actually found in the intestines, liver and ovaries of the fish. One gram of fugu poison is enough to kill 500 people. No cure has been found for this deadly fish. With the help of respiratory technology you can live but rarely depending on your immunity and willingness to fight back. The poison attacks the lungs therefore making it difficult to breathe. Longest you can live without any help is 24 hours but you can die within 20 minutes of intaking it.

Oliver went to the bathroom and looked at the mirror and noticed spiky scales on his arms and also realized he needs to be in the water every 30 minutes because he can’t stay out of water. After looking and observing the hideous creature that he's become, Oliver only knew he couldn’t go back to his family and home or even go back to work. As a scientist he knew the pain of having to do research on something. He couldn’t go back and get locked up for research purposes so he decided to stay back until he figures out a way to turn back human and control his powers.

Months have passed and he finally found out why he turned to this hideous thing. The poison reached the veins in his arms and instead of killing him immediately it actually adapted and mixed in with his white blood cells turning him into what he is. He found out that his wife never asked about him and ended up marrying a different man. His hatred towards them plus his rage transformed him into an evil figure and ended up trying to physically hurt everyone around him by shooting puffer fish spikes from under his scale like skin, and coughing poison when he transforms. This turned him into a villian and people were afraid of him everywhere.
